PROPOSED ITINERARY:

Day 01:
FLY INTO JOHANNESBURG. GAME DRIVE IN PILANESBURG NATIONAL PARK.
Pilanesburg National Park – Set in the crater of a long extinct volcano, the Park ranks among the largest of the parks in South Africa (fourth largest park), accommodates virtually every mammal of South Africa, also home to the “Big Five” and covers an area of 55,000 hectares .

Day 02:
ONTO GEORGE.
On arrival at George, transfer to Knysna.

Day 03:
TOUR OF KNYSNA.ONTO OUDTSHOORN
Tour of Knysna, with its magnificent lagoon and ‘Garden of Eden’, enroute view the famous Outeniqua Pass,enjoy a beautiful Cruise on the Knysna Lagoon and visit the famous Featherbed Nature Reserve.

Day 04:
TOUR OF “THE WORLD’S FEATHER CAPITAL” –OUDTSHOORN. VISIT THE WINELANDS, CANGO CAVES & OSTRICH FARM.ONTO CAPETOWN
Drive through the Winelands along the Breede River Valley to Oudtshoorn – “The world’s Feather Capital “.
Cango caves – the stalactite stalagmite formations are an incredible sight.
Ostrich Farm – enjoy shows performed by well -trained birds.
Cheetah land – marvel at the grace and beauty of the world’s fastest animal.

Day 05:
ENJOY THE CABLE CAR TO THE TOP OF TABLE MOUNTAIN.
Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and coastline.

Day 06:
VISIT THE FAMOUS CAPE OF GOOD HOPE. SEE THE JACKASS PENGUINS. VISIT SIMON’S TOWN
• The Jackass penguin colony – African Penguins used to be known as jackass penguins because of their distinctive braying, and they’re the only penguins found on the continent.
• Cape of Good Hope – said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it “the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe”.
• Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens – home of some 3500 species of Southern African fauna and flora.

Day 07:
CAPE ADVENTURE DAY TOUR
Highlights of the tour are:Guided Quad bike (ATV) trail amongst the vineyards and olive plantations & Tree Top Zipline Tour in Hermanus.

Day 08:
TOUR OF ROBBEN ISLAND
Robben Island – It is designed to educate, inform and expose young people to elements of South Africa’s rich heritage that is embodied in Robben Island’s multi-layered history.

Day 09:
VISIT THE SCENIC TOWNS OF STELLENBOSCH. TODAY ENJOY WINE TASTING.
Travel to culturally and historically significant Stellenbosch.
Visit a wine estate for a tasting and opportunity to purchase local wines.

FULL DAY HERMANUS FOR A LAND BASED WHALE WATCHING TOUR
Highlights include: Sir Lowry’s mountain pass, a visit to a farm stall where natural preserves, jams and delightful pastries can be enjoyed over a cup of tea (extra cost). The rotary drive high above Hermanus with its spectacular views of Walker Bay, Unsurpassed whale watching from the town and surrounds, The Harold Porter botanical garden with its bird and plant life and Clarens Drive with its world famous ocean views.

Day 10:
WILDLIFE SAFARI FROM CAPE TOWN

Get excited to see the ‘Big Five’ – African elephants, Cape buffaloes, lions, leopards and rhinos – got their nickname as you keep your eyes peeled for any sign of them as well as giraffes, hippos and abundant bird species.
