PROPOSED ITINERARY

Day 01:
ROME
Experience the multi-sensorial attraction ‘Time Elevator’ that shows almost 3000 years of Roman history. See the majestic Trevi Fountain – a fountain of grandeur and wishes.

Day 02:
ROME
GUIDED TOUR OF ROME – experience the magic of Rome on your extensive guided tour. Start your tour by visiting the Holy See – The Vatican. Marvel at the masterpieces of the Vatican Museum as your expert local English speaking guide leads you through. Visit the Pope’s personal chapel – The Sistine Chapel. Get artistically inspired by its decoration, frescoed throughout by great artists including Michelangelo. Later, visit the holy church of St. Peter’s and be amazed by its artistic and architectural grandeur. End the day by seeing the Victor Emmanuel Monument, Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, Colosseum, Ancient temples and many more sights.

Day 03:
FLORENCE – PISA.
CITY TOUR OF FLORENCE – Proceed for a city tour. See the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore – The Duomo. See the “Gates of Paradise” – The East Doors of the Baptistery, the Campanile and marvel at the open air sculpture museum in Piazza Della Signoria, the Santa Croce where Michelangelo and Galileo are buried. Also see Ponte Vecchio – a medieval bridge over the River Arno. Get a bird’s eye view of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo where you can also see the statue of David, one of Michelangelo’s masterpiece. Later, drive to the city of Pisa. Hold your breath as you enter the “Square of Miracles” and see the precariously Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Day 04:
BOLOGNA – PADOVA
A DAY SPEND TO SEE FEW REMARKABLE PLACES – Visit the Ferrari Museum which has a collection of cars, images and trophies of Ferrari’s victories all over the world. The exhibition of the Galleria is a discovery journey of Formula 1 racers, Grand Tourers and Sports-Prototypes that have made history. Proceed to the romantic city of Venice. Later, on your chartered boat, we take you to the traditional centre of the city – Piazza San Marco. This city of 117 islands in the Venetian Lagoon is sure to leave you mystified. On your guided tour, see the St. Mark’s Basilica, Bridge of Sighs, the Doges Palace, the Campanile and many more sights. Experience the romance of this magical city on a Gondola ride – included on your tour. End your day with the Visit to Murano Glass Showroom and see the skills of these master craftsmen.

Day 05:
PADOVA – MILAN .
ENTERTAINING TOUR OF MILAN – Proceed for an informative and entertaining 3-hour tour of Milan focusing on the city’s rich connection to history and the arts. This tour takes you to some must-see spots, including the terraces of the famed Gothic cathedral and the castle, as well as, the hip, artsy Brera district, home to a plethora of cool cafes, restaurants, boutiques and galleries. Later visit Piazza Duomo to admire the magnificent cathedral. Crossing the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II you’ll reach Piazza della Scala to see the Teatro alla Scala and discover its history. After a short subway ride you’ll arrive at Castello Sforzesco, the noble residence of the Sforza dynasty and formidable fortress. There you’ll visit one of the most valuable masterpiece of the Castle’s museum, the Rondanini Pieta’, sculptured by Michelangelo during the last days of his life.

Day 06:
MILAN
Full-day Lake Como and Valtellina Valley Tour from Milan
Proceed to Varenna (approx. 1-hour), a charming little village on the Lake Como, which is located right in front of Bellagio. Upon arrival, enjoy a short walk of the picturesque village. Pass through the labyrinth of narrow streets, some of which are built over the rock and cliff right above the water. Afterwards, continue on as you drive to Valtellina, which is a valley located in the Lombardy region (northern Italy) that begins right at the top of Lake Como. Pass through the scenic vineyards nestled in the lower part of the Alps.
