PROPOSED ITINERARY

Day 01:
SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE (SCHLOSS SCHÖNBRUNN) AND THE GARDENS
Schönbrunn Palace is the former imperial summer residence, view the most interesting sites in the gardens are: Gloriette, the Maze and the Palmenhaus. At the entrance of the palace there is an Imperial Carriage Museum.

Day 02:
EXPLORE VIENNA
The Gothic cathedral, Stephansdom, is one of the most famous sites in the city. You can visit the cathedral itself, the Treasury or to climb the South Tower.

Day 03:
VIENNA – MUNICH.
Catch your train from Vienna to Munich.

Day 04:
NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE, LINDERHOF PALACE, AND OBERAMMERGAU DAY TRIP FROM MUNICH
Winter Munich day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle including Linderhof Palace and Oberammergau with unbeatable views of the castle and the Bavarian Alps Explore the castle with a guide and learn about its construction and themes.

Day 05:
SALZBURG AND LAKE DISTRICT DAY TOUR FROM MUNICH
Immerse yourself in Salzburg, sights from the ‘The Sound of Music’ movie and Austria’s Lake District on a day trip from Munich. Absorb the beautiful Lower Bavarian Alps as you journey south to Salzburg, and enjoy free time to explore its churches, squares and filming locations from the ‘Sound of Music’ movie independently.

Day 06:
MUNICH – BRUSSELS
Take you flight from Munich to Brussels.

Day 07:
DAY TRIP TO ANTWERP
Drive through the countryside to Antwerp’s city center. Your first stop is Market Square with its ancient houses and Our Lady’s Cathedral. Amongst other treasures, the cathedral contains four of Rubens’ master works: “The Elevation of the Cross”, “The Descent from the Cross”, “The Ascension of the Virgin” and “The Resurrection of the Virgin”. You’ll then continue your walk to the baroque church Carolus Borromeus, the interior of which was entirely designed by Rubens.
